St. Vivekanand Sr. Sec. Public School reserves the right of admitting students to the school and may refuse admission without giving any reason. If the parents do not want their ward to rejoin school on session, they must inform in written, giving three months prior notice, failing which they will have to pay dues for May and June and security money will not be refunded in this case. If a student leaves school during mid-session even after two or three days of admission, the parents will have to pay all dues for 12 months of the ongoing session.
A student must join the school on the due date after vacation or leave if he/she joins late, a fine of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged. A student may be expelled from the school due to irregular attendance, misbehaviour, disobedience, dishonesty or using unfair means in examination. Security money must be withdrawn within six months from the date of leaving the school. If it is not claimed within this period, the amount will be transferred to the Children's Welfare Fund.
The children should also be taught general norms of good behaviour at their home during the vacations. Parents should not only ask the children to speak politely but also speak to them politely when they are at home during the vacations. Provisional admission to class XI will be offered in April on the basis of the students' performance in the pre-board examination and interview/test, if required. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case. Fee-structure is subject to revision from time to time.
Parents are requested to communicate any change in address without delay.
Parents are requested to make all reports directly to the principal and not to the teachers.
All the students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline, and a polite and gentle behavior in school premises and in hostel also. The principal has full right to ask a student to leave the school at once, if in his opinion his stay is detrimental to the school discipline.
Parents are requested not to contact the teachers either personally or on phone. Any problem should first be discussed with the principal. They are welcome to meet him on any working day, except on Saturdays and Sunday between 10 a.m. to 12 noon. They can meet him at any other time also with prior appointment. Regular parents-teachers meetings are held as per schedule.
Every Second Saturday parents can meet their ward in hostel & can discuss with teachers about the progress of their ward.
Notice of withdrawal must be given before 15th Jan. and 1st Sept. Failure to give notice will render the parents or guardians wishing to withdraw their ward, liable to be charged the full fees for the year from which the boy/girl is to be withdrawn.
If a parent decides to withdraw his ward at any time during the term, even if it is 2 or 3 days after admission, he will be required to pay the full fee in accordance with the rules. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
The principal will issue instruction regarding the departure of boarders for all vacations to the parents/guardians well in time.
If a student leaves the hostel in mid-session, the parents will have to pay full fee for the year from which the student is to be withdrawn.
The amount deposited towards the registration and admission for any particular year is neither refundable nor transferable to any other year and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case. A hosteller student will not be permitted to be a day scholar in mid session in any conditions.
