  • Rules:
    • Registration must be done through online process. (website:
    • Schools must carry a signed copy of the eligibility Performa that must be filled online.
    • Schools must carry ID card as per CBSE online format.
    • For students studying in Class IX & above, their CBSE registration number must be provided.
    • School to carry the team photo with school Principal, countersigned by the concerned Principal.
    • Schools should carry a bonafied certificate provided by the school.
    • All schools must carry original documents in case of verification.
    • All schools will have to pay a caution deposit of Rs. 3000, which will be refundable.
    • Schools will be charged Rs. 350/student towards accommodation & food per day.
    • Schools should carry a copy of their sports fee receipt.
    • School should carry their school flag for the march past during the opening ceremony.

    Eligibility Age:
    The athlete should be within the particular age group on 31 December of the year of competition.
    • Only bonafied students shall be eligible to participate in the Inter-School tournaments/meets. Feeding any non bonafied student shall lead to disqualification of the team.
    • A student, who has failed twice in a particular class, shall no more be eligible to participate.
    • Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team.
    • Any violation in eligibility (over age or Impersonation) shall be dealt according to rules.
    • All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player, etc in original, as per the CBSE Guidelines & Rules shall be carried personally by the Team Manager/Coach while reporting for participation.
    • The players right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers supporting the eligibility in original on demand. Any team/athlete not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the commencement of the tournament/meet shall not be permitted to participate.

    • (i)The documents for verification in original if asked for.
    • The team photo with school Principal along with the entry Performa, countersigned by the concerned Principal.
    • To provide CBSE registration number for student/player studying in class IX and above.
    • To supply the eligibility Performa filled-in online, countersigned by the concerned Principal.
    • The Eligibility/Entry Performa in disciplines like Athletics shall include the event/weight category in which the athlete wishes to participate.

    A player/team may be disqualified/scratched for the following reasons.
    • If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected.
    • Inclusion of non bonafied student in the team.
    • Misbehavior on ground by athlete or accompanying official.
    • Use of abusive language by athlete or accompanying official.
    • Misbehavior with Officials/Opponents by athlete or accompanying official
    • Indiscipline at the place of stay by athlete or accompanying official.
    • Damaging the school property.
    • Indiscipline during the Opening and Closing ceremonies by athlete or accompanying official.
    • Non participation in March Past.

    Do’s and Don’ts:
    • The coaches will stay along with the students.
    • Drinking Liquor and smoking is strictly prohibited. The school has a zero tolerance policy on this. Anyone caught flaunting this rule the team will be immediately disqualified from the competition at any stage.
    • Due to security reasons, school teams must depart together. Individual gate passes will not be granted to participants to leave the school campus once they have registered. Gate passes to leave the campus will only be issued at the end of the competition.
    • Parents are not eligible for any facilities provided to the school teams.
    • You are requested to bring your own lock & Key.
    • Please do not keep any valuable things in the room. The host team will not be responsible for any such loss.
    • Sports Uniform should be worn during opening ceremony.
    • Please make it a point to be punctual for all events and the meals.
    • Please do not litter in the campus or in your room. Use dustbin.
    • In case one feels sick or indisposed, contact the infirmary.
    • No one should play in the rooms or in corridors.
    • No player is allowed to leave the premises after 06:30 pm strictly to be followed.
    • Misbehavior on ground by players or accompanying official will not be tolerated.
    • Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team will lead to disqualification of the team.
    • Use of abusive language by athlete for accompanying official will not be tolerated.

    1.The meet shall be conducted according to thelatest and revised ru es of Amateur Athletic Federation of India,with modifications wherever applicable.

    2.Every schoolwill be entitled to enter only one athlete in each event, except in re ay races where a team of maximum five athletes can be entered.

    NOTE::Weight of allthe equipments shall be carefully checked before hand and signed by the Organizing secretary.

    4.An athlete can partcipate in maximum two indivdual events and in relay.

    5.Only online entries are accepted. On the spot entry/changes will not be permitted.

    6.The athletes winning first position at Cluster level shall qualify to take part in National level Athletic Meet. In relays also, only the first position winning team from each Cluster will be allowed to participate in Nationals.

    7.In a particular event, if the number of athletes is less than four; but they are from different Institutions/Clusters,It may be conducted. The winners may be awarded the medals and the merit certificate, but, they may not be awarded the points so as to be included for the Team Championship. However, their points will be considered for Individual championship.

    8.In case of relays, all the five members of the team (if five names are given before the meet in the eligibility Performa and all five have attended the meet) irrespective of who runs the finals, shall be awarded the Medals and Certificates.

    9.Immediately after the Cluster level meets, the Organizing School shall send the list of athletes qualified, with their school name and complete postal address to the National Meet Organizing School through online form

    10.All the Principals of such schools from where the Athletes have qualified to participate in the National meet must inform their Athletes, indicating the venue and the dates of the National meet and plan their journey (reservation etc.). They should also inform the Organizing School about their arrival and departure schedule.

    11.In relays, only a single school team will be allowed to participate.

    12.The Overall Championship separately in boys and girls sections in all the age groups may be decided. The points shall be awarded according to the following system:

    13.The Merit Certificates shall be awarded only up to 3rd position. However Participation Certificates will be awarded to all those who actually take part in Cluster/National level as the case may be.

    14.A separate prize may be given to the Individual Championin Boys and Girls section, in all the age categories.

    15.The Individual Champion (Best athlete) In any age group will be awarded only to one athlete on the basis of performance/points as per the AFI Scoring Table.

    16.A prize may be given to the school scoring total maximum points (total points in all the age groups in Boys"& Girls" categories) and may be declared as over-all Champion.

    17.In the National Athletic Meet the record of performance, up to 6th Place shall be maintained. In case where no 6th Place Is available, up to 4th or 5th performance will be maintained.Such performance will be made availab e to the CBSE Sports Cell.

    18.New Meet Record(s) wherever created should be clearly indicated as 'NMR'and wherever the performance is equal to the existing record, may be clearly indicated as 'EMR'.

    19.From organizing school,In each event, on y one athlete will participate.

    20.The schools Organizing Cluster level meet shall take a Group Photo of the teams that have qualified to participate in national level meet. The photo shall be signed by the host school Principal and forwarded to the school organizing next level of competition along with origlnal entry Performa.
